Different Stewardships:
Working from Home: Those who love to cook are needed to
prepare meals for parishioners in crisis or to provide food for
funeral luncheons. There are also opportunities to join our "prayer
connection", send card to the ill on our sick list and other special
ministries you can do from home.
Communication and Relationship: Assistance is often needed
for bereavement ministry, peace and social justice concerns,
transitional housing mentors and the local walk-in ministry.
Hands on Activities: Volunteers are regularly needed for
serving at funeral luncheons, home maintenance for the elderly,
transportation, visitors of care, CROP Walk, DuPage Convalescent
Center, ESSE (adult day care), the food pantry, meals on wheels and
PADS (homeless shelter).
Building Community and Fellowship: Join others with the
Adopt-a-Family Program, Moms and Tots Play Group, FAll Flu Shot
Helper, St. Joseph Employment Ministry, Make-a-Difference Day
Project and kitchen help for many of the parish functions.
Assisting The Christian Service Office: Regular mailings,
sending special greeting or anniversary cards are among some of the
numerous tasks that volunteers are needed for assistance.
