Confessions of St. Augustine: “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You.”

Welcome! We’re glad you’re here!

You are invited to the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)!

Jesus asked those who were following Him, “What do you seek?” They wanted to know who Jesus was and where He was staying. He told them, “Come and see.” (John 1:38-39). Andrew was one of those who had followed Jesus, and he told his brother Simon Peter, “We have found the Messiah. Then he brought him to Jesus.” (John 1 40-42a)

This is what the RCIA is all about. It is about finding Jesus in the church He founded – the Catholic Church! Are you or someone you know searching to meet Jesus? Were you baptized Catholic, but have not received the Sacraments of Confirmation or Eucharist? Were you baptized as a non-Catholic Christian, but feel drawn to the Catholic faith? Do you feel a restlessness in your heart that is leading you to the Catholic Faith? “Come and See” for yourself or bring a family member or friend to meet Jesus and learn more about the Catholic Faith.

Please contact the parish office at 630-469-0404 to set up an appointment to learn more about what the RCIA process might look like for you. If you would like a description of the RCIA process in general, go to usccb.org, on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ website for a full description of the steps of the RCIA and other information pertaining to the RCIA.
