All young adults are welcome to join us! 🙂
St. Petronille Young Adults seeks to create an intentional community of Catholic young adults (ages 18-35) who actively are growing deeper in their relationship with Christ, His Church, and others. We hope to grow in knowledge, service, spirituality, and community as we journey together towards sainthood and encounter Christ in the sacraments.

Monthly YA Holy Hour + Social: On the second Wednesday of each month beginning at 7pm, we gather together for an hour of Adoration followed by a social at a local bar/ restaurant. Our next Holy Hour will be Wednesday, Sept. 13th!
Friday Events: Every Friday St. Pet’s hosts an event for young adults. We have a nice mix of service, community growth, fellowship, and socialization. These events are from 7:00-9:00pm unless otherwise stated. Events can be found on the calendars to the left and bottom.
Saturday Outings: Once-a-month, St. Pet’s YA will go on an outing. In September and December we will be volunteering with Mary’s Closet, in October we will take a trip to Sony Acres, and in November we will visit Get Air in Downers Grove. All outings will take place in the afternoon.

Youth Ministry (High School & Middle School)
St. Petronille Youth Ministry seeks to empower high school & middle school teens to become disciples of Christ, cultivate knowledge of God and grow in relationship with Him and other teens, and participate in the sacraments and the Church. Our overall mission is to walk with teens on their journey towards Heaven and to ensure that everyone, no matter how old or young, has a spot at the Table. Our YM program is new and just starting up, so please come see what God is doing at St. Pet’s!
Events
Thursday events: Most Thursday evenings from 7:30-9:00pm there will be a YM event for middle schoolers or high schoolers. Each Thursday we will alternate between middle school and high school. Please refer to the schedule below to see which week your child has an event! We offer a mix of subjects, from helping the community, watching a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and carving pumpkins. Each event will feature a talk on an aspect of the Catholic faith and small group discussion. We hope you can join us!
Saturday outings: Once-a-month the YM program will host an outing for both middle and high schoolers to attend. In October we will take a hike in the Morton Arboretum, in November we will go bowling at Bowlero, and in December we will go ice skating. All of these events will be a special time for students to embrace community outside of the church and have fun!
Volunteers needed: In order to put on this program, we need people like YOU to make it possible. We are looking for volunteers to help with set up and tear down, facilitating small groups, and help supervise. If you are interested in volunteering your time, please reach out to Gabi.
Please reach out to Gabi at 630-469-0404 ext. 2106 or [email protected] for more information on events or to be added to our YM emailing list! Check out our Instagram page (@StPetsYouthMinistry) for more information about upcoming events or to get connected with our community virtually! We look forward to welcoming you into the St. Petronille Youth Ministry Family!
